Terms of Service
Effective date: November 1, 2026
These terms apply when you use havenwoodmichigan.com or contact Havenwood Care of Michigan LLC ("we," "us," or "our"), a private home care agency at 120 North Washington Square, Suite 300, Lansing, MI 48933. By using this website or submitting a form on it, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please just call us instead at (517) 201-0429.
Who we are, and who we are not
We are a private company and an enrolled Michigan Medicaid provider (CHAMPS Provider ID #20260806324523). We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or part of the State of Michigan or the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. We are not a government agency and we do not speak for one.
What this website is for
This website explains the Michigan Medicaid Home Help program in plain language and lets you tell us about your situation so we can call you back. It is general information, not legal, medical, tax, or benefits advice. Program rules change, and the rules that apply to your family are the ones MDHHS applies to your case, not the summary you read here.
We do not decide eligibility or hours
Nothing on this website is an approval, a promise of approval, or an offer of employment. MDHHS makes all final decisions about eligibility and about how many hours are approved. We do not determine eligibility, we do not set the number of approved hours, and we cannot guarantee any particular outcome, any timeline, or any amount of pay. Where we describe pay, we are describing the hourly wage we pay our own caregiver employees. Actual earnings depend entirely on the hours MDHHS approves.
Employment
If you are hired as a caregiver, your employment is with us, is subject to a separate written agreement, and is contingent on things including a criminal background check, legal authorization to work in the United States, enrollment as a provider in the state's CHAMPS system, and MDHHS approving the care plan. Employment is at will to the extent Michigan law allows.
Using the site
- Give us accurate information. We make decisions about how to help you based on what you tell us.
- Only submit information about another person if you have the right to share it, for example as their parent, guardian, or representative, or with their permission.
- Do not use this site to break the law, to send us anything harmful, to scrape or overload it, or to submit forms automatically or in bulk.
- This site is for adults. Do not use it if you are under 18.
Text messaging terms
Where we offer it, you may opt in to receive text messages from Havenwood Care of Michigan about your inquiry, including scheduling calls and appointments. Opting in is optional and is never required in order to submit a form or to work with us.
- Message frequency varies. We text about your specific inquiry, not on a schedule or campaign.
- Message and data rates may apply. Those come from your mobile carrier, not from us.
- Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call (517) 201-0429.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
Supported carriers may change. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your number.
Not medical advice, and not an emergency line
Nothing here is medical advice, and a web form is not a way to get help quickly. If someone is in danger or needs urgent medical attention, call 911.
Our content
The text, images, logos, and design on this site belong to Havenwood Care of Michigan LLC or are used with permission. You may read and share links to our pages. Please do not copy our content for your own commercial use without asking us first.
Links to other websites
We link to official Michigan resources and to a scheduling service as a convenience. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Limitation of liability
This website is provided as is. To the fullest extent Michigan law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of this website, including any decision you make based on general information you read here. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute belongs in the state or federal courts located in Ingham County, Michigan.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we do, we will post the new version here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the update.
